If any of the oil seals were installed incorrectly, a new seal can leak. Also the water pump shaft coupling can get a groove worn on it that can leak with a new seal.

I planning to replace a seal and put new timing belt by the way as car got 67000miles done so will have to replace belt soon anyway. Is very big job to replace that seal but luckily is the front crankshaft seal from timing not the rear one as that would left me with even higher ...
